This
building was raised in the middle of the 19th century. In 1982, it
was considered part of our historical patrimony and since then,
any modification is strictly prohibited. It is situated at the
street Rua Professor Lima - number 186, and its front extends
along Nilo Peçanha Square. The building is double-floored and the
first floor bears three street doors, being one of them central
and imponent and two smaller ones. The three of them bear flat
arches, composing an harmonic front design. A simple platband
along the front hides the roof of the building and a
double-stairway leads to the three street doors. In the back part
there is a courtyard which is also part of such a historical
treasure and where official cars are parked. The general
conservation of the building is quite good.
