It is more known as The Pitanguy Island because it is the residence of the famous Plastic Surgeon Ivo Pitanguy. It is one of the biggest islands in Angra dos Reis losing only for The Gipoia and The Big Island. The concern with the flora and fauna on The Island makes it a sanctuary. Many artists and celebrities from all over the world has come to The Island as Dr. Pitanguy guests.
