The
greatest attraction in this place is maybe not the beach itself,
but the marvellous sunset one can witness here as night falls.
The special presence of the mountain Pico do Frade imparts the
landscape as a whole an extra charm. According to those who live
here, every sunset is a singular spectacle, since the colours
and the clouds change everyday, creating diferent
“paintings” on the sky.
Beer
and seafood are available here, being served by bars in front of
the beach.
Being
situated near the biggest swamp along Baía da Ribeira , this
beach is definitively not the best option if one intends to bath or dive. Although Praia da Enseada is not polluted, its
waters are muddy since a great amount of clay and slime are
deposited on the floor.
