Situated
between two other beaches where there is intense tourist flow,
this place is like a refuge from the agitation one will normally
find in places like Praia da Flechas and Praia da Piedade. All
you will find here is a calm atmosphere and some small pretty
shells. There is also a small bar where drinking and sea food
are available for reasonable prices.
The
former chief of Rede Globo, the most powerful TV-channel
in Brazil and sponsor of the New Year Sea Pocession, owns a
mansion here, what made this place the starting point of the
traditional event for many years |
