Have you ever swum in an aquarium? In a natural aquarium without glasses or walls? Blue Lagoon is the name given for the region around “Feira de Santana” where you will find a great number of exotic fishes specially a fish called “Sergeant” (Sargento). It is yellow with blue stripes. If you throw some bread in the water they soon appear. Swim with them is a unique sensation. It’s a little scary in the beginning but it is worth a try. No need to say it’s a place for contemplation and interaction with nature. Fishing or throwing non-organic waste in the water is forbidden.
